NAF: Announces traffic limit on the Keffi-Abuja road
A partial traffic restriction along the Nyanya-Keffi motorway was issued by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Saturday in preparation for its annual 10-kilometer walk/jog exercise scheduled for all NAF bases across the country in 2023.
This was announced in a statement released on Friday in Abuja by Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information.
Gabkwet stated that the workout would begin at six in the morning and that it was a component of attempts to improve the physical fitness of NAF troops.
According to him, the NAF Base, Asokoro Football Field, to the Defence Headquarters Roundabout would be the starting point of the exercise in Abuja.

The drill, he continued, would go to Army Checkpoint Kugbo at Keffi Road/Kugbo Furniture and Pedestrian Bridge and return to the base through the NAF Valley Second Gate.
“Traffic on the aforementioned routes will be partially restricted during the period.
Major routes surrounding NAF Bases and their surroundings are anticipated to be covered by the drill in different areas across the country.
Therefore, every safety precaution that is required has been taken to guarantee a flawless workout.
“As a result, the general public is advised to proceed with their regular activities without panicking, particularly drivers and residents living in the vicinity of AYA, Asokoro, and communities surrounding NAF Bases nationwide,” he stated.
