The All Progressives Congress (APC) will continue to face turmoil and unrest until it eventually falls apart, according to Yekini Nabena, a former Deputy National Secretary of the party.

Nabena specifically blames the party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, for his leadership style, which he believes will ultimately lead to the party’s demise.
In a statement, Nabena criticizes the way the party is being run, stating that the foundation is flawed and that there can never be peace as long as the current leadership continues.
He highlights the fact that Ganduje was not elected to his position but rather appointed, and this has led to a disregard for other party members’ opinions and decisions.
Nabena further expresses his frustration with Ganduje’s view of his position as compensation for not becoming Nigeria’s Vice President. He believes that this mindset is detrimental to the party and exacerbates the existing issues.
Nabena also points out the lack of adherence to constitutional provisions within the party, particularly regarding the calling of National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings.
He criticizes the appointment of inexperienced individuals to key positions within the party, which he believes has contributed to the loss of Bayelsa state and the ongoing crisis in Ondo state.
In conclusion, Nabena predicts that the APC’s internal conflicts will eventually lead to the party’s explosion, as there is no effective system of checks and balances in place to ensure the party’s stability and success.
