My Last Relationship Was Back in University- Falz

Nigerian rapper and singer, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has opened up about why he remains unmarried at the age of 33.

He explained that he is being cautious and doesn’t want to rush into a marriage that may not be right for him.

Despite the pressure from his parents, particularly his father, Femi Falana, Falz is determined not to let himself be influenced into getting married.

In a recent interview with Naija 102.7 FM, Lagos, the ‘Marry Me’ artist shared that he is currently single and his father reminds him daily about his marital status.

The rapper opened up about his personal life, revealing that his parents have expressed concern about his relationship status, with his father being particularly insistent.

However, he mentioned that his mother seems to have taken a more relaxed approach recently, as if she has passed the responsibility to his father.

Despite the pressure from his dad, the rapper emphasized that no one, not even his father, can force him into getting married, and he even chuckled at the thought.

Shifting gears, he delved into his own dating life, sharing that he hasn’t been in a serious relationship since his time in college.

He attributed this to the challenges of being a celebrity and the difficulty in finding the right woman for a lifelong commitment.

Currently, he clarified that he is not dating anyone, but he expressed his attraction to women and his desire to eventually find a meaningful relationship.
