The Super Falcon scored in Nigeria’s triumph over Australia and celebrated by taking off her jersey.

According to Asisat Oshoala, her father is not pleased with her celebration after scoring in Nigeria’s 3-2 triumph over Australia.

The Super Falcon scored her team’s third goal of the game, giving Nigeria a two-goal lead heading into the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

She took off her shirt to celebrate the score, just minutes after coming on as a substitute in the Group B match.

Her celebration has sparked debate among football fans around the country. While many people are unconcerned by her celebration, some are.

According to the footballer, the father of the Barcelona Femeni forward is among the latter.

“My dad is definitely not happy with my choice of celebration, but then again, life is a collection of MOMENTS,” the African Woman Footballer of the Year wrote in an Instagram post that included photographs of her goal celebration.

There is a lot to offer.
Earlier, the forward voiced his delight after Thursday’s victory, thinking that the Nigerian team has much to give the football world.

“I’d like to commend my teammates; everyone gave it their all.” “No one knows what this team is made of,” she stated after the game.

“All we have to do is show up on the pitch and show what kind of heart we have.” This team has a lot to give, and the rest of the world witnessed it today.”

Oshoala seems unconcerned with being on the bench and just appearing in the second half of the game.

Helping the side achieve their goal, like she did with her own, takes precedence over personal glory for her.

“Sometimes you have to make a decision for the team, and to be honest, I wasn’t feeling well,” she added.

“If someone isn’t feeling well, other people can step up; that’s why we have 23 players on the team.” The players rose to the occasion. It makes no difference where I begin; what matters most is the team’s outcome.”
