Minister Hannatu Musawa reaffirms her trust in President Tinubu’s leadership following the cabinet reshuffle, citing her belief in his decision-making abilities after supporting his campaign.
Hannatu Musawa, the Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, has stated that she is unconcerned about President Bola Tinubu’s upcoming reshuffle of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
The minister appeared as a guest on the Sunday Politics program broadcast by Channels Television.
When questioned about her concern that the President might remove her from his cabinet due to “controversies” surrounding her, the minister responded, “I don’t believe there is any controversy about me or my office. What I can say is that I supported the President during his campaign and have faith in his judgement.”

From what I’ve observed about the President, he possesses a clear vision and mission to improve Nigeria beyond its current state. He is undeniably courageous, which is essential for any leader in making bold decisions.
To deliver on his commitments to Nigerians, he requires a team of capable lieutenants. It’s beneficial for any democracy and administration for him to evaluate his cabinet and lieutenants, ensuring they are aligned with his goals. If someone isn’t performing accordingly, we should trust in his judgment.
Therefore, I am not concerned because I trust that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu prioritizes the nation’s best interests. Any decisions he makes regarding cabinet restructuring will be aimed at effectively delivering his mission and vision for Nigerians.
Various groups have urged the President to dismiss certain ministers deemed underperforming. In late September, presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga stated that the President had shown interest in reshuffling his cabinet, although no specific date for this action was set.
