According to a source, there has been a clash between several groups at Ballah junction in Eyenkorin, Asa Local Government Area in Kwara State, resulting in an unconfirmed number of fatalities.
The source mentioned that the violence started on Monday night and has continued into Tuesday morning, with individuals from different groups engaging in fatal confrontations.
In response to the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, stated that mobile policemen and tactical units have been dispatched to the location of the violence.
He emphasized that these forces are currently present at the scene and ready to address the situation.
