A mosque, hotels, and other establishments around the state have been sealed by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, or LASEPA.
As part of its initiatives to combat noise pollution in the state, LASEPA blocked off the premises.
The agency stated in a post on X that the impacted businesses were situated in the state’s Oshodi/Isolo region.

“LasEPA sealed several establishments, including a mosque, a company, and hotels in the Oshodi/Isolo area of the state for various environmental infractions yesterday,” the agency said, citing its continuous efforts to combat noise pollution and other environmental violations.
“Green Point Hotel, 4 Season Hotel and Suites, Big Apple Hotel and Suites, Adura Agba Ratibi Mosque, Stag Engineering Nig Ltd, Honey Dew Hotel and Suites, Humble Signature Hotel and Suites, and New Ground Hotel are the affected facilities.”
