The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has taken proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of the populace during the Easter celebration.

Over two thousand officers have been deployed across the nooks and crannies of the FCT, with a focus on visibility policing and the deployment of explosive ordinance devices (EOD) experts at various places of worship and event centers.
Additionally, raids on identified black spots and uncompleted buildings/shanties, as well as stop and search operations and vehicular/foot patrols, have been implemented.
The FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, has urged residents to cooperate with the police operatives and embrace the virtues of the festivity.
He reassures the populace of his commitment to ensuring a peaceful and serene atmosphere before, during, and after the Easter celebration.
