According to the Lagos Coroner Court, which is located in Ita-Elewa, Ikorodu, a toxicological test is being performed in the US on the remains of the late music icon Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
The branch of autopsy called toxicology looks for reasons behind the singer’s demise.
This was revealed on Wednesday during the continuing inquest by state attorney O. Akinde.
Kinde informed Coroner Magistrate Adetayo Shotobi that the test was necessary because the autopsy on the deceased’s external body had been finished.
“Toxicology testing, which concerns the internal body, is conducted in the United States.” He stated.

His revelation came after the late David Fadimu’s father, TNKay Music Worldwide’s David Nawoola, and O.S.A. Aranmolaran, a representative of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Ikorodu, insisted on knowing more about the reasons for the test result’s delay.
Despite the existence of toxicology laboratories in Nigeria, the coroner, Magistrate Shotobi, had asked to know why a foreign toxicologist had been chosen.
Remember that Fisayo Ogedengbe, a 37-year-old auxiliary nurse who was detained by the police in relation to the contentious death of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, is the target of legal action by the Lagos state magistrates’ court in Yaba.
At a Monday, November 6 session, the judge returned the troubled nurse to custody. The Lagos State police made hints that the probe was still proceeding in the interim. In order to get DPP guidance, Olatunbosun postponed the matter until Wednesday, November 29.
