Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, the late singer’s manager, has refuted claims that the singer left a will. This comes after Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, stated in an interview that his son had signed a will before his demise.
However, in a statement released on the late singer’s Instagram page, Mohbad’s management dismissed the accusation as false and misleading.
They emphasized that neither the management nor the lawyer had informed the family or the public about the existence of a will or any thumb-printed document, as falsely reported. They further asserted that if such a document did exist, it would have been officially registered with the Probate Registry.
The management urged everyone to refrain from spreading false and misleading statements. They also mentioned that all accounts owned by Mohbad during his lifetime were placed under a Post No Debit order on September 12, 2023, and will be handed over to the family once the internal dispute is resolved.
