For failing to respond to a police summons in relation to the death of artist Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known by his stage name Mohbad, Primeboy was made wanted and had a N1 million bounty set on his head.
Artist Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, was proclaimed a wanted person on Wednesday but turned himself in on Thursday, according to the Lagos State Police Command of the Nigerian Police Force.
For refusing to comply with a police invitation in relation to the murder of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, commonly known as Mohbad, Primeboy was made a wanted person with a N1 million bounty placed on his head.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, tweeted on Thursday that Primeboy has surrendered himself in after being listed as a wanted person. He was immediately arrested for questioning and other appropriate procedures.
Family, friends, Mohbad followers, and the general public are once again assured by the Lagos State Police Command that every effort will be made to conduct a thorough investigation.
The Command also guarantees that all those found responsible for Mr. Ilerioluwa Aloba’s death, also known as Mohbad, would be brought to justice.
At the age of 27, Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record company, passed away in Lagos. According to certain reports, Mohbad was physically assaulted by Naira Marley and his group several times as a result of leaving the record company.
