Mohbad previously revealed his adversaries, and his father betrayed him. Rev. Giwa
Pastor Adewale Giwa, Senior Pastor of the Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, has said that the police do not need to waste time investigating the death of Promise Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, in light of the controversy surrounding it.
The musician had already revealed individuals who had been wanting his life, along with the petition he penned a few months before his death, according to the cleric, in a number of tapes that have gone viral.
The well-known pastor criticised the part the deceased man’s father has been playing since his death while discussing the matter.
Giwa stressed that given the circumstances leading up to the dead’s death, especially given that he was a celebrity, the father shouldn’t have hurried to bury the corpse.
“I haven’t slept a wink since the incident. He is someone I don’t know and have never met. His death is puzzling given the circumstances.
“I’ve thoroughly examined and viewed several videos about him, and good parents do not sit by and watch their children get slain without making an effort to find the perpetrators.
“I don’t know what has happened to Nigeria, and I don’t know what has happened to the Nigerian music industry. Why do you seek fame beyond all else? The younger artists should learn from this and not rush to become well-known. It is an excellent lesson.
“I want to firmly request that the Inspector General of Police give his soldiers orders right away. He doesn’t have to hold off until an investigation is being done. The guy himself revealed his foes in the videos I’ve viewed; he made mention of them. Therefore, they don’t need to wait for the results of any investigation before acting and detaining those responsible for the boy’s death.
“I also want to make a strong request to the Inspector General of Police to exhume Mohbad’s remains immediately and do an autopsy. The videos showing him being tortured till he died are puzzling,” he stated.
Giwa emphasised further that “both Christian and secular music in Nigeria has been taken over by fraternity. You can’t advance until you fit in; that is nonsense. Stopping this insanity is necessary.
“The deceased’s father shouldn’t have buried him in such a hasty manner. The father should have called the police and explained how his kid was slain, according to the law. However, I don’t believe he did that. Before burying the young man, he ought to have postponed the burial and called the police to report the incident. He was a bad father in that regard. He should have learned the precise circumstances surrounding his son’s passing. He made the worst error.
The police know what to do, so it’s not too late. He was recently buried, therefore he is still in the ground. They can bring out his dead body immediately away and perform an autopsy on him.
“If the father had truly been the father figure in the young man’s life, he wouldn’t have buried him so quickly. This serves as a reminder for all parents to provide their children with the greatest care possible.
