Ilerioluwa Aloba, well known as “Mohbad,” was a late Nigerian rapper and musician. His management has promised to keep fighting to get his back catalogue and unpaid royalties from his previous record company, Martian Music.

This was revealed by the management in a statement that was published on Saturday on Mohbad’s verified Instagram account, @iammohbad.

“Right now, we are focused on ensuring that Mohbad’s legacy lives on and that he is remembered as he was in his final months: Free, strong, and fighting for his future,” the statement said.

“Mohbad was in court before he passed away to get back the majority of his songs and unpaid royalties that Marlian Music had illegally kept.

“We will keep fighting to get our hands on his catalogue and unclaimed royalties so that they can be used to support his heirs, especially his son Liam Imole.

“We demand #JusticeforMohbad and will gratefully accept any assistance in our fight to have Mohbad’s catalogue returned to him from Marlian Music. This is the justice that Mohbad was fighting for.”

The administration was touched by the public’s outpouring of love in the wake of Mohbad’s passing.

A few admirers also paid tribute to the late artist in the statement’s comment section.

“Chai,” emini_kabex exclaimed. Every single minute, I fervently hope and silently pray to MOH to suddenly appear on live camera and inform us that he is only playing a practical joke on us.

Mohbad departed Marlian Music in 2022, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), citing unpaid royalties from 2019.

He passed away on Tuesday, September 12 at the age of 27. (NAN
