In Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, hundreds of youths held a rally on Thursday in memory of the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, calling on the police and other relevant authorities to carry out a thorough investigation and bring those responsible for his murder to justice.

The rally was started by the teenagers at the Airport Road in Effurun’s Bendel Estate intersection near the Awenayeri petrol station.

They sang music dedicated to the deceased while carrying signs that read, “#JusticeMohbad.” “Say No to Marlians”, “#You don’t have to kill someone before you sing #Justice4Mohbad” Imole. Who off the light? “, “If you’re going to say Na Jazz, E for don cast.” If you say “no soap,” we’ll finish in a baffle.”Justice for Mohbad” and “#Justice4Mohbad a.k.a. Imole#” Imole justice, or “Warri justice for Mohbad”

In order to determine Mohbad’s son’s genuine paternity, the teens also demanded that Mohbad’s wife be invited, questioned, and the subject of a DNA test.

They demanded that Naira Marley, his former label boss, as well as the young people allegedly responsible for injecting the deceased be detained. They also requested the police to detain his father so that he could explain why he hurried to bury his son.

Odivri Elo Sandra, one of the demonstrators, sobbed bitterly and compared Mohbad’s passing to her own life because she had no family. She stressed that those close to her do not love her and said that if she passes away, her bones should be interred at the cemetery.

MLI Imole, a musician from Warri who also spoke with DAILY POST, suggested that the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, or NDLEA, should also be looked into for failing to apprehend the deceased artist in February.

The gathering is still going on as of the time of this report, and the young people are dancing to some songs by the late Mohbad.
