Mob Kills Man After He Allegedly Murders Son and Nursing Mother in Delta

A violent mob attack in Delta left a man dead after he reportedly murdered his son and a nursing mother. Learn more about this shocking event.

In a shocking incident that has shook the Evureni community in Delta State, a man named Samson committed a gruesome act, leaving a baby boy and a nursing mother dead.

The tragic incident occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning, resulting in the tragic loss of three lives, including Samson himself, as hoodlums took the law into their own hands.

Sources said the incident occurred at about 2am when Samson, for reasons not fully understood, beat his infant son to death.

The community, still reeling from fear, witnessed another tragic moment as Samson attacked and killed a nursing mother named Princess, and injured another unidentified man.

Eyewitnesses reported that Samson had been exhibiting strange behaviour leading up to the incident. There were said to be plans to take him to a medical facility for treatment, but tragedy struck before anything could be done.

An enraged mob gathered, captured Samson and in a swift act of caution, bludgeoned him to death before setting his body on fire. While the exact reasons for his actions are still unknown, the devastating loss has left the community in grief and shock.

According to him, “he beat up his young son and then killed a woman with a machete who was taking her son to the toilet and injured some youths when they tried to arrest him.” He injured others.

“Following the incident, he was eventually arrested, bludgeoned to death and his body set ablaze with a motorcycle.”

Delta State Police Spokesperson, Edafe Bright, was not available to respond to his calls at press time but a senior security source who confirmed the incident said, “The suspect was set ablaze before operatives arrived at the scene.”
