Minister, senator, representative, and others storm the Ogun Tribunal for Judgement

Invading the Isabo court location of the Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal are the Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management, Dr. Iziaq Salako, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, who represents Ogun West, and Representative Hon. Tunji Akinosi.

Judgement on the suit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Ladi Adebutu, against Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is expected from the three-person panel, which is presided over by Justice Hamidu Kunaza.

In support of Governor Abiodun, the politicians, who are all APC members, are present in court.

Additionally present in court is Noimot Salako-Oyedele, Abiodun’s deputy.

Salako entered the court immediately after Adeola, a.k.a. Yayi, who came at 7:55 a.m.

Additional Abiodun assistants, including commissioner designates and Oluwatoyin Taiwo, deputy chief of staff, joined them.

At the tribunal’s location in Isabo, Abeokuta, there is currently a significant security presence.

Also prohibited from visiting the court grounds were numerous journalists.
