Troops from Operation Hadin Kai of the Nigerian Army have eliminated six ISWAP fighters during a raid on a well-known hideout in Goniri, Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
This information was shared by Zagazola Makama, a security analyst in Lake Chad, through a post on his X handle last Friday.
Makama mentioned that the successful operation was carried out by the troops of 81 Division Task Force Battalion in conjunction with the Civilian Joint Task Force.

According to Makama, intelligence sources informed him that the troops also cleared Wulma Mashi and Kodow, destroying terrorist structures in the process.
Additionally, the troops cleared Goniri and Kokotuma, engaging with the terrorists near Gorere market where they neutralized six fighters and demolished all structures in the vicinity.
