The winger for Crystal Palace, it was reported, would want to join Manchester United, and the Red Devils were also interested in signing him.

Olise was a Chelsea fan from the age of seven to fourteen, but she has always been a die-hard Manchester United fan. The 22-year-old is slated to leave Palace at the end of the current campaign and is aware that United and the Blues are interested in him.

Last summer, Olise’s £35 million release clause was triggered by Chelsea, and it appeared like the winger would be heading to Stamford Bridge. But after that, Olise signed a fresh four-year deal to stay at Selhurst Park.

In his most recent contract with the Eagles, Olise now has a fresh release clause that goes into effect this summer. Although the precise amount of the clause is still unknown, it is anticipated to be far more than £35 million.

The Hammersmith-born Frenchman has been performing well for Palace this season, even if injuries have limited his playing time. Under Roy Hodgson, Olise has made nine appearances in the Premier League, contributing once and scoring five goals.

It is believed that Man United is closely monitoring Olise’s circumstances in preparation for a summer transfer. With just 24 goals scored in their first 21 Premier League games this season, Erik ten Hag’s team has struggled offensively thus far.

In the summer transfer window, Olise is still anticipated to be pursued by Chelsea, who will try to entice him to Stamford Bridge. The Blues should also be aiming for other goals.

At the end of the current campaign, they are anticipated to make a move for Victor Osimhen, as it appears likely that the Napoli forward will depart the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in the summer. Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of Napoli, virtually confirmed the Nigerian’s exit in a speech on Friday.

He stated: “This was well known since the summer; if it hadn’t been amicable, the talks [for the new deal] would not have taken as long. We were certain he would sign with Real Madrid, PSG, or another elite English team.

Chelsea wants to strengthen their team with a world-class No. 9, but they haven’t been able to accomplish so this month. The club is now expected to wait until the summer to solve their goalscoring problems in the transfer market, with only a few days left in the mid-season window.
