Simi, also known as Simisola Kosoko, recently shared that her husband, Adekunle Gold, was the one who inspired her controversial song ‘Men Are Crazy,’ which featured Tiwa Savage.
The song received a mixed response, particularly from male social media users who criticized the condescending tone of the lyrics.
During an appearance on Angela Yee’s podcast, ‘Way Up,’ Simi mentioned that Adekunle Gold suggested the concept for the song, proposing the idea of highlighting the notion that men are crazy but still desired.
Simi explained that she initially had doubts about the song but decided to go ahead with it, eventually reaching out to Tiwa Savage to collaborate on the track and even shoot a music video together.
