Melaye warns INEC not to plunge Nigeria into war; authentic results must be announced

Dino Melaye, a spokesperson for the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Committee, has cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, against inciting conflict by tampering with election outcomes.

Melaye also said that the results should be real and show what the people want.

On Sunday, he posted a message on his Twitter account that included his remarks.

Melaye advised against manually computing results.

“INEC should refrain from starting a war.” The genuine results and the people’s choice must be made public. “No compromising,” he tweeted.
