Mbappé Cleared in Swedish Rape Investigation
French football star Kylian Mbappé has been exonerated in a Swedish rape investigation, with authorities finding no evidence to support the allegations.
The Swedish Prosecution Authority announced on Thursday the conclusion of its investigation into the rape allegations against French football star Kylian Mbappé, citing a lack of sufficient evidence to move forward.
This case garnered significant international attention and placed considerable pressure on the footballer’s career.
Mbappé, who has consistently refuted the allegations, has not yet released an official statement in light of this decision.
His legal representatives have previously expressed their dedication to due process and have maintained his innocence throughout the investigation.

Platinumpost reported that Mbappé was “linked to a rape investigation in Sweden” and that he planned to reserve any explanations for the Swedish judicial system “if necessary,” as stated by his attorney, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard.
“He prioritizes providing his explanations, if required, to the Swedish judiciary,” Canu-Bernard informed AFP, while vehemently condemning “media allegations suggesting that Kylian Mbappé had commented on the events of his trip to Stockholm.”
The investigation, which commenced earlier this year, revolved around accusations related to an alleged incident in Stockholm. The prosecutor’s decision not to file charges signifies the conclusion of months filled with scrutiny and speculation.
