The transition committee for Peter Mbah, the incoming governor of Enugu State, was inaugurated with 63 other individuals, including seasoned Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor, often known as Mama G.
On Thursday, the committee was officially established at the Old Government Lodge GRA in Enugu.
Mbah expressed hope that the committee, which is made up of technocrats, financial and management experts, entrepreneurs, transparency and accountability advocates, as well as tech and innovation specialists, would put their vast ideas and expertise to use in creating a policy and action plan for his incoming administration. He thanked the committee for accepting the offer to serve the State.
“Ndi Enugu chose us because they think we will lead them on the necessary journey of development, growth, and greatness,” he continued. And urged the committee to create a verifiable road map for the journey.
Patience Ozokwor posted pictures of the inauguration along with the message, “For the love of Enugu State, for the love of my people, I shall serve faithfully. I appreciate you, @pnmbah, and I hope all of your wonderful intentions for our people are successful.
