The aircraft’s tyres were damaged, causing a delay on Max Air flight from Yola to Abuja as reported by one of the passengers.

One of the most challenging experiences in their life was recounted by the passenger to TG News, who also expressed gratitude for surviving unscathed.

A representative, who preferred to remain unidentified from the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), affirmed that preparations were being made for the relocation of four tires from Abuja en route Yola Airport.

Subsequently, a plane coming from Yobe was planned to move those tires directly to their desired destination on that same night in order for them undergo urgently needed repairs.

The official gave assurance that there was no need for concern as the situation had been brought under control. The aircraft, with a total of 113 passengers on board, faced tire problems during preparations for takeoff despite its scheduled departure time being at 5:15 pm.

Efforts to contact FAAN for additional confirmation and comments on Sunday night proved futile.
