David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, has pledged $10,000 to Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, an Eko Hotel and Suites employee who returned a misplaced $70,000 to a customer in Lagos.
On Sunday, he posted on his verified Twitter account, “Find her for me… “I am donating $10,000.”
According to Obasanjonews24, Ngozi Mary has been praised on social media by numerous Nigerians for returning $70,000 (about 55 million) to a customer at a Lagos hotel.
Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party LP issued a statement earlier today congratulating Ngozi Mary on her gesture, adding it was gratifying and heartening that she undertook the act despite the country’s poverty and widespread moral degeneration in society.
Obi also nominated her for a national award.
