Marcelo, the former vice-captain of Real Madrid, recently made a statement regarding Lionel Messi, the former captain of Barcelona, describing him as ‘evil’ on the pitch.
According to Marcelo, Messi’s demeanor during matches was quiet and he himself refrained from engaging in conversation with the Argentine player to avoid provoking him.
The Brazilian footballer emphasized that it was crucial to maintain a certain distance from Messi during games, as any attempt to obstruct him could lead to him becoming angry and consequently more challenging to handle on the field.
Marcelo admitted to trying to physically confront Messi multiple times during their encounters.
Marcelo’s observations on Messi’s behavior were shared during an interview with Cortes Podpah, shedding light on the competitive dynamics between the two players.
