Man Tasered During Turbulent Trump Rally (WATCH)
On Friday, amidst tightened security at pre-election events following last month’s failed attempt on Republican nominee Donald Trump’s life, a man attempting to enter the press area of a rally in Johnstown, Pennsylvania was tasered by police officers.
During a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania last July, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks fired several rounds at Trump that nearly caused the former president’s demise. The bullets hit one attendee who died and injured two more while grazing Trump’s right ear. In response to this dangerous situation, Secret Service Agents intervened by shooting and killing Crooks as an act of self-defense.
As reported by the media, the man successfully crossed a bicycle rack that was encircling TV journalists and their cameras. Subsequently, he proceeded to climb up onto the back of a platform where they were stationed.

Those present in the vicinity attempted to extract the perpetrator from the edifice, but it wasn’t until law enforcement arrived and utilized a taser that he was subdued.
The occurrence happened soon after Trump criticized the media for their unfavorable depiction of his presidential campaign and alleged partiality towards Kamala Harris, his Democratic opponent.
As the police escorted the man away, amid a Trump rally, the GOP hopeful joked and asked whether there was any other place where we could have as much fun. The crowd cheered them both on.
The motivation of the offender remains unclear, and their stance on Trump is uncertain.
Shortly after, a man from the crowd was restrained by law enforcement officials and taken away. It is unclear if his apprehension was linked to the initial occurrence.
