Police are looking for a man named Adeyemi Babatunde, who is 26 years old. He is suspected of killing a driver named Obafunsho Ismail in a small accident.

The man who did it was caught on December 20, 2022, just over two weeks after he allegedly beat up the 46-year-old driver.

Abimbola Oyeyemi, the public relations officer for the Ogun State Police, stated that the incident took place on December 8, 2022, at around 8:00 p.m., when the suspect, who was driving a Lexus jeep with a customized number plate reading “Olu of Oya,” struck the deceased’s car from behind and broke its rear light.

According to reports, the deceased driver got out of his car and asked the suspect to get off so they could inspect the damage and come up with a fix.

Oyeyemi says that the suspect was trying to get away after he wouldn’t get out of his own car.

He claimed that the deceased became irritated by this and demanded that the suspect get down; as a result, he sat on the suspect’s car hood to prevent him from escaping.

Adeyemi Babatunde, the suspect, later arrived and warned the deceased to leave the car’s bonnet if he didn’t want to waste his life. He then returned to the vehicle and accelerated out of the parking lot.

The deceased fell off the car as a result of his action, and the car ran him over. Oyeyemi claimed that the suspect reportedly ran over the deceased twice in order to make sure he had passed away.

The guy fled with his car after finishing the deed, according to a police spokesperson.
