Man detained in Adamawa on suspicion of raping his neighbor’s wife

Jaafar Adamu, 36, was detained by the police in Adamawa State for reportedly raping his neighbor’s wife in the Hong Local Government Area.

This information is found in a statement released on Wednesday in Yola and signed by SP Suleiman Yahaya-Nguroje, the command’s spokeswoman.

The suspect, according to Yahaya-Nguroje, was detained on September 15.

In Angwan Diocese Kala’a in Hong, the suspect, he claimed, sexually assaulted the 23-year-old wife of his neighbour.

“Unfortunately for him, the victim was able to identify him when his face mask came off during the act. He escaped, but has now been caught,” he claimed.

He declared that he would face legal action and that the police were looking into the situation.
