Man detained by police in Gombe for stealing 23 cows

Gombe State Police Command arrested Adamu Maikudi, 23, for stealing 23 cows in Golombi village, Shongom LGA.

Maikudi, from Mai Rana village in Billiri LGA, was caught by the police, while two other suspects are still on the run.

ASP Mahid Muazu Abubakar, the state police command’s Public Relations Officer, revealed that Maikudi sold the cows that belonged to Anchau Maishanu.

Maishanu reported the theft at Pero Chonge Divisional Police headquarters, stating that Maikudi and two others stole and sold his cows.

An investigation was conducted, leading to Maikudi’s arrest and the recovery of all the stolen cows.
