Man City sends a midfielder on loan while Chelsea finalizes a deal for a new defender, marking significant moves in the football transfer scene.
OBASANJONEWS reports that Kalvin Phillips, a midfielder for Manchester City, is poised to depart from Pep Guardiola’s team as he has arrived at Ipswich’s training facility to finalize his summer-long loan.
It is believed that Phillips was positively influenced about the project following talks with Ipswich manager Kieran McKenna and the chairman of the club, Mark Ashton.
Phillips’ wages are believed to still be partially covered by Man City, according to the report.

Despite joining the Premier League champions, Phillips has yet to establish himself as a frequent starter at Man City under Guardiola.
Additionally, Chelsea announced that Jorja Fox, a defender for the club, has agreed to extend her contract and will be loaned out to Crystal Palace of the Women’s Super League throughout 2024-25.
Chelsea announced on their website last Thursday that the 20-year-old has prolonged her tenure at the west London club in Premier League by agreeing to a fresh contract until June 2027.
The General Manager, Paul Green, expressed his satisfaction at extending Jorja’s contract for another period. The entire Chelsea team wishes her all the best during her loan tenure with the Eagles and eagerly anticipates witnessing her growth over time.
