Major awards presented at NNL Super Eight: Beyond Limits event

Major honours were won by Beyond Limits in the just concluded Nigeria National League Super Eight competition.

The Ikenne-based team defeated Nasarawa United 4-3 on penalties to win the 2024 NNL championship.

Farouq Ogundare of Beyond Limits won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) title, and Emmanuel Olisa of his club took home the Best Keeper honour.

For taking home the crown, they were also awarded N5 million in prizes.

With three goals, Ikorodu City’s Yusuf Toheeb emerged as the top goal scorer.

The team with the best behaviour was Inter Lagos, while the coach with the best discipline was Adams Usman, the technical adviser for Nasarawa United.
