Losing my mother has made life feel empty and purposeless- Wizkid

Popular Nigerian musician Wizkid, real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, has talked publicly about his sadness at his mother Dolapo Balogun’s passing.

Recall that the musician lost his mother in August 2023 while travelling throughout Europe in support of his album, “More Love Less Ego.”

Wizkid claimed that life had lost all meaning after his mother passed away and shared his emotions on social media.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the musician asked his followers to work with God.

“Made idk days after I lost my mum,” he wrote. Life has been completely pointless! However, we do. You have to let go of everything sometimes. Cooperate with God.
