Actress Lizzy Anjorin declares she is too disciplined to ever resort to theft, emphasizing her strong moral principles.
Lizzy Anjorin, the Nollywood actress, has revisited a controversial theft case that made its way to social media several months ago.
During a recent podcast appearance, the versatile actress dedicated some of her time to addressing accusations that she had stolen a gram of gold valued at N91,000 from Idumota market in Lagos.
Stating that the alleged gold held an equivalent value to a grain of rice, she dismissed the case.
Anjorin observed that someone as accomplished as her, who specializes in high-end gold and other fashion accessories worth millions of naira, would not lower herself to the point of stealing a mere N91,000 worth of gold.

“Firstly, let’s clarify that we’re discussing N91,000 worth of gold when a single gram is valued at around N150,000.
It seems unreasonable to suggest I would steal something as small as a grain of rice from the market. As a certified jewellery and diamond seller it should be evident by my appearance alone. Additionally, I am also an experienced fabric merchant with discerning taste in fashion.”
She continued by stating that the current weight of her attire is around 350 to 400 grams. She emphasized that she only sells premium quality gold jewelry, ranging from 19 to 22 carats.
With this in mind, it would be unreasonable for her to resort to stealing a single gram of gold at Eko Idumota as claimed.
Such allegations were preposterous because she didn’t have any intention or urge within herself ever never become involved in theft activities due strict discipline and transparent behavior towards life’s problems always lead right on track with honor and dignity without anything getting tarnished rightfully earned through hard work!
