Lionel Messi faces criticism for his actions following the PSG loss

A day after his team lost 3-1 to Lorient in Ligue 1, French football journalist Daniel Riolo blasted Paris Saint-Germain striker Lionel Messi for traveling to Saudi Arabia.

Messi had left on Monday for Saudi Arabia to carry out his duties as the nation’s traveling brand ambassador.

Riolo was upset by Messi’s action, though.

Messi is on a promotion in Saudi Arabia the day after another poor performance, Riolo noted on Twitter.

Messi did not put on a very strong showing in the match against Lorient on Sunday, as he only managed three successful dribbles and no attempts on target.
