LG chairmen’s sack is dismissed by state executives in Adamawa LP crisis
The local government chairmen of the Labour Party in Adamawa have expressed their lack of confidence in the state executives of the party.
Out of the 21 LGA chairmen, 18 accused the state chairman, Christopher Nicholas, of incompetence and announced his removal, along with other members of the state executive committee.
In response, the LP LG chairmen formed a state caretaker committee to replace the Nicholas-led EXCO.

However, the Nicholas-led EXCO members gathered at the Labour Party state secretariat and refuted their alleged removal, stating that the proper procedure was not followed.
Nicholas emphasized that there is a specific mechanism for addressing issues within the party, and it was not adhered to in this case.
