Victor Boniface’s outstanding scoring prowess has been lauded by Bayern Munich icon Michael Rummenigge.

Since joining Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, Boniface has excelled.

In 12 games for Die Werkself across all competitions, the Nigerian has tallied 10 goals.

Boniface was praised by Rummenigge, who called him one of the best goal scorers.

Rummenigge stated on Sport, “Jonas Hofmann has continued to improve because of his better teammates; Granit Xhaka is a real winner and Victor Boniface is a top goalscorer.”

“And Alejandro Grimaldo, who can even score goals while playing full-back.”

In August, the 22-year-old was named the Bundesliga Player of the Month.

In addition, he was honoured with the August and September Rookie of the Month awards.
