The Kano State Anti-Graft Commission Chairman, Muhuyi Magaji, has been charged with ten counts by the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and brought before the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja.
Newsmen in Abuja were provided with a statement on Saturday by Veronica Kato, the Head of Press at CCB, which included this information.
According to Kato, Magaji was accused of violating the public officer code of conduct, receiving gifts, lying about his assets, abusing his position, and conflicting with the law.

She claimed that on Thursday, Magaji was arraigned before the tribunal.
Investigations, according to Kato, revealed the existence of N394 million in hidden bank accounts, raising the possibility of wrongdoing.
Yet, she claimed, the defendant was given bail in the amount of N5 million along with two sureties who owned properties in the Federal Capital Territory.
