Ejimakor also expressed gratitude towards the Supreme Court of Nigeria for its ruling in the case of FGN v #MNK, highlighting the importance of upholding the rule of law and condemning any actions that undermine it.
The statement raised critical questions about the implications of a government resorting to criminal acts in the name of crime prevention and control, emphasizing the need for justice and the preservation of the rule of law.
Kanu is expected to face trial for terrorism charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja, following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Appeal Court’s ruling that had previously acquitted him of these charges.
