The former Senate President sent a note of sympathy to the Senate Press Corps, stating, “I was profoundly grieved to learn about the demise of a member of the Senate Press Corps, Mr. Tijani Adeyemi of the Tribune newspaper, today.
He was well-known for his exceptional talent and commitment as a reporter. He had an unshakeable enthusiasm for journalism, and those who had the privilege of reading his work profoundly appreciated his dedication to providing factual and gripping storytelling.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Adeyemi was a sincere and kind person. To the best of my knowledge, he approached his work with empathy, attempting to comprehend the distinctive viewpoints of the National Assembly, which he covered for many years.
“In such a trying period, it is crucial to keep in mind that Mr. Adeyemi made a lasting influence and his legacy will continue to motivate young journalists for years to come.
