The KMC-KAYI APP of the KMC Microfinance Bank was introduced in Kano with the intention of reshaping societal access to financial services and financial transactions.

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, unveiled the APP on Thursday, and it is also positioned to serve the “unbanked and underbanked segments of the society, ensuring access to financial services that were previously out of reach.”

Abdulganiyu Rufa’i, the KMC-KAYI APP’s Product Lead, claims that the system also serves the diaspora population by “offering cutting-edge cross-border payment solutions and providing modern banking solutions for urban professionals.”

According to Rufa’i, KMC-KAYI guarantees lightning-fast transactions with its cutting-edge ML server architecture, enabling consumers to send and receive money “with unparalleled speed and reliability.”

The Lead stated that KMC-KAYI is not simply the future of finance but also the place where innovation meets accessibility and security meets ease.

The Emir thanked the company’s founders and announced the launch of the APP, saying that the tool will help Nigeria’s and Kano State’s economies grow and thrive.

He asserted that Kano, the commercial hub of the country, deserved more facilities like the KMC-KAYI APP to promote small companies and other services.

He claimed that by developing practical avenues “through which the unbanked could be financially engaged,” the APP would aid in resolving the society’s present problems with financial inclusion.

The Emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero, business magnate Alhaji Aminu Dantata, who was represented by his son, Alhaji Tajuddeen Aminu Dantata, and other members of the Kano business community were among the dignitaries that attended the event.
