Two Special Advisers who had just been appointed have been reassigned by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola, revealed this in a statement on Friday.
For the newly sworn-in members of the Lagos State Executive Council (SEC) and body of Permanent Secretaries, the reassignment was communicated during the 2023 on-boarding retreat programme, according to Muri-Okunola.
He stated that Dr. Oreoluwa Finnih-Awokoya, the Special Adviser on Health from the Ministry of Health, had been transferred to the Office of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Furthermore, he claims that Sanwo-Olu transferred Mr. Abiola Olowu from the Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment to the Lagos State Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources where he now serves as Special Adviser, Office of Mineral Resources.
The Special Adviser, Works, would report to the Office of Lagos State Deputy Governor, according to Muri-Okunola, who also stated that the changes are effective right away.
Remember that Sanwo-Olu swore in 37 commissioners and special advisers as members of the SEC on Wednesday and gave them respective responsibilities.
According to NAN, there are 14 special advisers and 23 commissioners in the cabinet.
