The Lagos State Government has signed an MoU with Summa Group to develop the Lekki-Epe International Airport, a project set to boost aviation and economic growth.

The Lagos State government has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the construction firm Summa Group to develop and construct an international airport in the Lekki-Epe area.

The state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, revealed this information in a statement on his X account on Saturday.

Governor Sanwo-Olu stated that the Lekki-Epe International Airport will enhance travel and open up new opportunities for businesses and residents across the state.

The statement announced, “We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the globally renowned construction firm, Summa Group, for the development and construction of the eagerly anticipated Lekki-Epe International Airport.”

This innovative initiative is a crucial component of our plan to enhance connectivity in Lagos, boost economic growth, and attract international investments.

“The Lekki-Epe International Airport will enhance travel and open new opportunities for businesses and residents across the state. Lagos consistently takes the lead.”
