The Lagos State Police Command successfully rescued three infants who were found locked up in a room by their grandmother in the Agodo-Egbe, Ikotun area of Lagos State, as reported by the command spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin.

The grandmother, identified as Fatimo Ganiyu, was promptly arrested following the discovery.

Although the reason behind the grandmother’s actions remains undisclosed, the children, consisting of a girl and two boys aged between two and four years old, were found in a malnourished state and were only dressed in diapers when they were rescued.
