The politician presided over a gathering in Ikeja that was attended by key figures in Alimosho politics, artisans, stakeholders, and the Igbo community.
Aregbesola advised them to start door-to-door efforts to secure victory, according to a statement by spokeswoman Sola Fasure.

The minister asked them to set aside their differences and work together to ensure the party’s electoral victory.
“We cannot allow those who have not fought alongside us since the beginning, including the SDP, AD, AC, ACN, and now the APC, to take what is rightfully ours.
We put in a lot of effort to get what we have in Lagos today, he continued.
To prevent the party from failing, Aregbesola urged party members to avoid “those stirring the fires of strife.”
