A court decision that sentenced a clergyman to 21 years in jail for attempted sexual assault has been applauded by the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA).

In a tweet published on its official Twitter account, @LSdvsa, on Wednesday, the agency praised the decision.

It claimed that after the defendant was found guilty of the crime and received a sentence, justice had been done.

The statement read, “Justice has been done; his name will be entered in the Sexual Offenders Register kept by Lagos State.”
