Temitope Adetanju, 25, has been placed under arrest for reportedly putting a piece of firewood in the vagina of a 12-year-old girl (name withheld) who had been caught stealing in Ogun State’s Isewo, Obada Oko, and Ewekoro Local Government Area.

It was discovered that the victim had pilfered N200 worth of biscuits, N150 worth of Milo, and N300 worth of goods from Mr. Fruit.

According to Obasanjonews.com, the child’s guardian allegedly tortured her to extreme physical abuse because of her habit of stealing.

Omolola Odutola, the Ogun State police spokesperson, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect was taken into custody by the Divisional Police Officer in Obada-Oko. The incident happened on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at around 11:00 a.m.

According to Odutola, on June 13, 2024, Temitope Adetanju, a 25-year-old woman, was detained by the Obada-Oko, Ogun State, DPO for allegedly sticking a large piece of firewood into a 12-year-old girl’s private area and accusing her of stealing N200 worth of biscuits, N150 worth of Milo, and N300 worth of Mr. Fruit.

She clarified that after learning of the incident, Temitope Adetanju, the suspect, was taken into custody by Juvenile Welfare Centre officers.

Odutola added that the accused had acknowledged committing the offences against which she was charged.
