Ladoja Receives Beaded Crown from Olubadan

Ladoja has been honored with a beaded crown from the Olubadan, signifying a significant cultural and traditional recognition in the Yoruba community. The event marks an important moment in the region’s heritage and leadership.

High Chief Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland was presented with the prestigious Ibadan beaded crown by Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin Ige Olakulehin 1 who is the reigning monarch of Ibadanland.

Located at Oke Aremo in Ibadan North Local Government Area, the ceremony was held at the new Olubadan palace.

Monday was the day when the event occurred.

High Chief Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland was conferred with the prestigious Ibadan beaded crown by Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin Ige Olakulehin 1, the incumbent Olubadan of Ibadanland.

At Oke Aremo in Ibadan North Local Government Area, the ceremony was held at the newly built Olubadan palace.

Monday was the day of occurrence for the event.

Ladoja had previously declared that he would decline the beaded crown.

On Monday, the beaded crown was presented to the Otun Olubadan by the Olubadan.

Abdul Raheem Adebayo Lawal, the Deputy Governor of Oyo State graced the occasion with his presence.

Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi, the Deputy Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly was also present at the event.

The occasion was graced by traditional leaders, politicians, and individuals who wished the event well.

According to OBASANJONEWS, this marks the initial official task carried out by Olubadan subsequent to his ascension on July 12.

When addressing the audience, Deputy Governor Lawal extended his congratulations and admiration to the citizens of Ibadan for their achievement. He emphasized that the government is devoted to fortifying the traditional institution in order for it to become a prime example throughout Nigeria.

In his statement, Ladoja observed the unity of Ibadan’s people and their ability to resolve any conflicts.

According to him, the proper way of doing things was suggested and Ibadan is fully capable of handling its affairs. They have their own methods for getting things done. Upon entering the inner chamber, one must be aware that there will be changes. He stated that all issues arise from a lack of understanding.
