The Directorate will be run by eight “obedient” members nominated by the Labour Party.
This was revealed on Thursday in a statement that was signed by Obiorah Ifoh, the party’s national publicity secretary.
The announcement claims that the action is a component of the party’s repositioning efforts to attract millions of young people to the Labour Party, especially those from the “Obidient” family.
The individuals designated to lead the “Obidient” Directorate include Chukwuemeka, A.J.U. Elumelu, Mariam Ismaila, and Marcel Ngogbehei, the Director. Gerald Okafor, Josiah Omenuwoma, Emeka Ezechi, Tony Ashekomeh Jr., and Angel Innocent.

“The inauguration of the Directorate will be held on Thursday, June 6, at the NEC Hall, National Secretariat, Utako, Abuja by 10am prompt,” the statement partially states.
The following tasks will fall under the purview of that directorate: coordinating the registration of all OBIDIENT community members and fully integrating them into the party’s structure; facilitating Diaspora involvement in party affairs; receiving complaints and handling them, or referring them to the party’s leadership if they cannot be resolved; coordinating the gathering of dues and donations for the party and making sure that all OBIDIENTS are party members financially.
