Leganes head coach, Borja Jimenez, has identified Luka Modric as his preferred Real Madrid player, ranking him above Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius.
Jimenez spoke before Leganes’ La Liga match against Real Madrid at the Estadio Municipal Butarque on Sunday.
He believes that Modric has elevated both Real Madrid and Croatia to unprecedented levels.
“Who’s your favorite Real Madrid player? In my opinion, Luka Modrić has consistently demonstrated his ability to orchestrate play over the years. He’s elevated both Real Madrid and Croatia to extraordinary levels,” he remarked, as reported by Madrid Xtra on X.
While Vinicius and Mbappe are undoubtedly talented, my preference is Modrić; I admire him greatly on the football field.
In 2012, Modric transferred from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid.
The Croatian midfielder has played in 551 matches for Los Blancos across various competitions, scoring 39 goals and recording 89 assists.
