The Kano State High Court, presided over by Justice Yusuf Ubale, has received a complaint filed by former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

It was learned that the purpose of the legal action is to stop him from being arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This comes after the EFCC questioned individuals on claims involving 2.5 billion naira in campaign finances linked to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
